Our Practice Nurse Janice Baird is fully qualified to carry out blood pressure checks, taking blood samples, smears, dressings and removal of sutures. 

Our Practice Manager – Mrs D Nield is responsible for the management and administration of the practice and all non-clinical aspects of your healthcare.

We have eight receptionists (Nici, Judith, Helen A, Clare, Tracey, Alice, Helen Y and Emma - led by our Office Supervisor – David Todd.  They will make appointment for patients to speak to the doctors and appointment for patients to see the nurses, arrange transport for first hospital appointments and they can also give patients the results of laboratory tests.

Community Midwives - Midwives work with the doctors to provide care for mothers before and after delivery and care for the baby for the first fortnight of life.  The Community Midwife runs a weekly clinic on a Monday afternoon in the Surgery - please speak to your GP or a Receptionist about an appointment.

The District Nurse is available to see you in your home and help with the following: 1. Dressings, removal of sutures and injections. 2. Advice and care of the acutely and chronically sick and the terminally ill. 3. Advice on incontinence and supplying pads and other aids. Referral is made by GP.

Community Psychiatric Nurses - These nurses help with elderly, confused patients and other mental health problems. Referral is made by GP.

Our Health Visitor – Michelle Dowling can be contacted through the surgery. She is available to help with health matters relating to the under-5s, e.g. feeding difficulties, vaccinations, hearing problems etc.

Social services - help with all kinds of social problems. The team includes the social worker and occupational therapist. Referral is made by GP.
