Welcome to Mount Oriel Medical Practice

The Practice operates a Telephone First Service.  If you need to speak to a GP, please telephone the surgery between 8.30am and 10.30am to request a call back. At times of high demand these slots may fill before 10.30am, if your call is of a routine nature you may be asked to call back the next working day, if your call is urgent please stay on the line.  You will be asked by our receptionists for some information regarding your presenting problem to help the doctors prioritise their calls.   A doctor will ring you back asap and if appropriate give you an appointment to attend the surgery.

Please do not attend the surgery unless you have a pre-arranged appointment or are collecting a letter.   

Repeat prescriptions take 2 working days to process, please do not phone to see if your prescription is ready. All prescriptions are now to be collected at your nominated pharmacy, please do not call at the surgery.

We hope to use our surgery website as a way of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for all information relating to our practice. We will keep it current with any news, developments & details that are relevant to the practice & our patients.

As well as a source of information about our Practice, the staff & the services we provide, we hope you use the website as a useful resource with links to other reliable websites for health related information. If there is topical health information we will also add this to the website.
